"Not gonna lie, the reservation mix-up was frustrating"
Not gonna lie, this was a frustrating experience. I booked a 16 ft truck, but when I showed up for pickup, they had different details in their system. It ended up wasting my whole morning, and what made it worse was that no one really seemed bothered or in a hurry to help fix it.

"Solid truck for a weekend move"
I rented a box truck for a weekend move and it did the job well. It started up without any issues every time, and the brakes felt solid, which made me feel comfortable driving it. There was a small rattle when I got on the highway, but it wasn’t a big deal and didn’t affect the move. Overall, I had a good experience and would definitely rent from them again if I need a truck in the future.

I booked through pensketruckrental it pretty much confirmed what I already thought about Penske being straightforward. The mileage details were right there before checkout, so I wasn’t left guessing or worrying about some surprise charge later. I knew exactly what was included and what extra miles would cost, which made planning the whole trip a lot less stressful

The staff was professional and did answer all my questions, which I appreciated. That said, it took longer than I expected to get help at the counter. Nobody was rude or anything like that, but things felt a little slow and not as organized as I personally prefer. Overall, it was okay, just not quite up to the standard I’d hope for...

Picked up my Penske truck this morning it went smoothly. The guy at the counter already had my info ready, checked my license, and did a quick walkaround with me. He pointed out a few scratches that were already marked down, which was good because I definitely wouldn’t want to get blamed for anything later. Fair warning to others: make sure you actually look over the truck and confirm any damage is noted before you drive off. Other than that, I had the keys in maybe 10 minutes, the truck was clean enough, and it had a full tank of gas. Simple experience overall, and I’d use them again

"Pretty easy to book online"
I booked a truck through pensketruckrental and it was straightforward for the most part. The site had the truck sizes, prices, and pickup times laid out clearly enough, so I didn’t really feel like I needed to call anyone. The only thing was that one page loaded kind of slow and I ended up double-checking my dates before I paid, just to be sure. Other than that, it seemed to work fine, and the confirmation came through quickly.

I booked a truck the whole fuel policy was way more confusing than it needed to be. I thought I had it figured out when I made the booking, but then at the desk they told me something different, which just made me second-guess everything. So instead of just picking up the truck and getting on with my day, I was stuck worrying the whole time about whether I was going to get hit with some random extra charge. Like, why is basic fuel info so hard to explain clearly? They really need to spell this stuff out before pickup. Not a great experience

"Truck Was Fine, Just Could’ve Been Cleaner"
The rental itself went fine, like, no real issues with picking it up or using the truck. But the truck could’ve been cleaner. There were some crumbs on the seats and the floor kind of looked like it hadn’t really been swept that well. It wasn’t, you know, terrible or anything, but I guess I just expected it to be a bit cleaner before pickup

"Truck was fine, but roadside help was slow"
The truck itself was totally fine, so I’m not trying to make it sound like the whole rental was a disaster. But once we got a flat, things got frustrating. Roadside assistance did answer, to be fair, but it took almost an hour just to get clear information, and then even longer for someone to actually show up. It wasn’t awful, and I get that these things happen, but I definitely expected the help to be quicker

Rented a truck with the towing setup and it was all solid. The straps were in good shape, lights worked like they should, and I didn’t run into any weird issues on the road. Overall, easy experience.

Dropping off the truck was easy enough overall, but when I got there, nobody was around at first. The key box was also kind of hard to find, which was a little frustrating. Not a terrible experience or anything, but it definitely could’ve been more obvious WHERE to leave the keys.

I booked a truck ahead of time thinking it would be ready when I showed up, but they didn’t have anything available. It pretty much wasted my whole morning. When I asked for help, support made it feel like it was somehow my fault instead of actually trying to fix it. Really frustrating experience.

Everything looked right on my bill, and there weren’t any weird extra charges added on. that’s all I really expect, charge me what you said you would and keep it simple. Easy enough.

The deposit was charged right away with no issue, but getting the refund back took almost two weeks to show up. I kind of regret not asking about the refund timeline beforehand, because I was expecting it to be much quicker

"Easy Coverage Options and Helpful Staff"
I thought the insurance and protection options were really easy to understand, which I appreciated a lot. For me, it didn’t feel confusing at all, and I liked being able to choose what made the most sense for my move. The staff explained the coverage clearly without making me feel pressured. that made me feel a lot more comfortable driving a big truck, so it’s 5 stars from me.

"I booked last minute and…"
I booked last minute and figured there wouldn’t be any trucks left (that’s usually my luck), but Penske actually had one available at the location near me. Pickup was quick, and the truck size I reserved was actually there (huge relief). It made my moving day way less stressful. Definitely 5 stars from me
